My grandfather had a mustang fastback with a FE 390. Except it was a 65 and was a drag car. I would do anything to have that mustang. I’d buy it now if I could. Unfortunately I don’t have the money.

So The "A" in GTA Stands for Automatic, And Although I Personally Would Rather Have A 4 speed manual GT, I Do Have To Say That Car Is pretty Sweet 👍 !

Indeed,A for auto but my owner manual says 1967 Ford Mustang/Cobra Hi-Po GTA.The GTA badges look amazing for I saw someone building a GTA n he had Scott Drake badges & the difference is shocking.The Drake’s are wrong colour red,the stripes in the badges don’t reflect like my NOS FoMoCo ones.Stark difference.In fact I ran into an Old Ford shop n on his top shelf he said I have 2 badges from 67.In case you have need for them they’re yours for 50$ both.They are still in my living room table drawer.He said do you know how rare your car is?Something like 350 in that K code/colour etc.He said,yours came w front power dual disc brakes,that’s rare.He sold me pads I still have which I’ll likely never need.Lovely cat in Pennsylvania.I was offered 50k back in 1989 from an owner of a large company.I told him I have a Son n it’s really his as much so I couldn’t.Very glad it’s in the garage with an Eastwood cover.Cheers

Just for the. record, Mustangs are "hims." Owner 24 years '67 coupe, inline 6, Wimbledon White, two-tone blue interior.

i prefer a manual in classic sports car bcs it way more fun and cool thing is that since its an old car there is a lot of room to work with that means you can swap a manual easily

I have a 67 GTA Hi-Po K code same colour but oddly mine looks slightly deeper but cld be their lighting also it’s a December 1967 so has the 68 wheels which I prefer.My gas cap looks different but it’s original.If you ever need a part do not get anything but NOS FOMOCO parts.The Scott Drake stuff is pure rubbish.Cheers

Btw my owner’s manual says 1967 Ford Mustang/Cobra mine has power dual calliper disc front brakes,power steering,power brakes,the top notch suspension which makes it handle like a newer vehicle.Stainless steel exhaust w the updated headers-the only non original pieces are the ignition I went w Mallory electric,and Edelbrock 4 barrel carb.Actually the colour on mine looks a tiny bit darker (might be their lighting)in fact on the road in the eve mine has a purple look.Everyone always thinks it’s a Shelby but my 67 GTA Hi-Po 289 K code is much more rare than a Shelby.Have fun n I wish I could show a photo of mine.No new paint yet it’s like a mirror.Had a 68 Camaro SS 350 n my Hi-Po handles world’s better n much quicker but they’re not for speeding around n I have been stopped by police n people just wanted to look at it.This bloke doesn’t mention the front brakes on his being dual calliper disc brakes n it takes literally 5 minutes to change the pads.Ford built them perfectly.Lovely seeing same interior as mine on this car.I have original AC but of course don’t use it.Radiator it all aluminium n I think that’s about it-Cheers
