Nice, nothing like like an MGB. I’m 6’1” and my 1963 fits like a glove.

Nicely presented. Other sellers take note: this is how you do a video of your car for sale.

You know, I bought a '64 new and a '66 new, loved both of them. Now at almost 80 years of age, I don't think I'd be happy with a simple 4 speed. I am now addicted to MX-5's and on my 5th, it's a six speed and I love it.

Love the 60s MGBs. Mine was a 1969 with wire wheels >RED. Never a single problem with that car other than it just wore out. Car is probably long gone by now.

Great year. I own a 78, 79 LE, and 80 LE. Plus a 68 and 71. All are restored except for the 80 LE. I just purchased it.

Why no shots of the car itself ? Would love to see the color & the body. That's kind of strange Sir. I miss the original ones. My "78" doesn't come close.

Why has the choke cable assembly been moved from it's original position?
@Garyjorges792 жыл бұрын
Not sure.. Never knew if there was one.. When I purchased the car thats the way it was with the factory carb setup. I removed the factory setup. I got an automatic choke that I didn't want but they sent one when I purchased the Weber Carb. Thanks for letting me know.

@@Garyjorges79 I've not seen that before. The choke should be next to the ignition switch, where there's a badge, but it's where the overdrive switch would be.

Over drive was rare on the early models. I had a first year "62" right after High School & I just purchased a "78" B. for my retirement days. The choke was by the ignition on the right side of dash, but alot of folks took out the dash light dimmer switch on the left, cuz they're kinda shit & freeze up on ya, and put the choke there on the left side. I remember the no Syncro's in first gear, I double clutched my "62" most of the time. I'm from Wisconsin & back in the early 70's we got some ferocious Winters here & still do from time to time. My Dad always told me, " don't sell that MG, it's the only car that starts some times because of that manual choke". I sold it. Wanted one ever since. The one I just bought is all original with only 52,000 on it, but Damn I HATE those plastic bumpers & the plastic (?) black steering wheel, & miss those wire knock off spinner wheels, & those awsome toggle switches. To replace those things would be about the same as what I paid for it. Oh well, it is what it is. Mine was kept in a temperature controlled garage for 20 years before I got it, so in really good shape.

@@kentonhammond8938 Yes.. 1st gear will grind if you don't come.to a complete stop. I really want the Chrome Bumbers(The states have the 5 mph Bumber law)That's why they put the Rubber Bumber I was told. Few other things I seen in my Moss Catalog I would really like. I put alot of Mechanical work into the car since I owned it(2 years)I've been driving it alot these days.. So much fun and very easy to store in a garage. Doesn't take any room up barely. Glad you found another one for your liking. Enjoy The Ride with the sun shining down.
