My first car at 16 in 1971 was a 1967 390 Mustang fastback in Springtime Yellow. I wanted to have painted Nightmist Blue but it was totaled in an accident in 1974 before I could save the money to paint. Still my favorite car ever. (All my money went towards insurance and tickets!)

I personally value originality more than any dream color. If that weren't the case, I wouldn't ride a „prairie bronze“ Mustang 😅 Color should not be a deal beaker; but bad quality and originality is.

Loved my '67 390GTA Fastback in Dark Moss Green, wish I still had it. I was 16 and it was 11 with 132K on it, my first and favorite car I ever had.

WOW...! if that were a "68" in Highland Green (similar to the Bullitt Mustang) I'd be all over it! My Favorite Ford is the 68 of 69 Torino GT (my 1st car in color code "W" Meadow Lark Yellow) or I might settle for a 2008 Bullitt Mustang as Ford's seemingly accurate recreation or the 1968 Mustangs! Thank You , Mike...

Ford offered some of the nicest colours. On a fastback , for me it would have to be Highland green, or Lime Gold. Vintage Burgundy mettalic is one of the nicest colours ever , but I think of it suiting a Fairlane or Galaxie more.

I had a white 67 GTA while I was in the army stationed at Ft. Lewis Wa. Instead of Viet Nam I was sent to Ft. Polk La. My GTA had no air conditioning so I traded for a truck. If I had only known.

Does anyone know where you can buy the ribbed tail panel?

Looks like part numbers 40584A and B might be the repro ones for the 67 fastback. There are originals on e-bay if you've got deeper pockets.

The colour should be the original! Respect the car as it is.

I'd trade you two of my muscle cars for 1 67 Fastback ! I'd like Blue just like that one. Plus it's my birthstone color, Sapphire. I was born in 67 so yea, I want one !! I have the following below; a beautiful 2013 green Boss 302 all original. 2007 tricked out GT Mustang. And a few more.

Personally, I would put some shoulder belts in from a '68. I don't like the idea of losing my teeth from that steering wheel in a collision.

Highly disagree here on sacrificing the color you want. If you want the color that bad, you should hold out and wait till one pops up. If the color isn’t that important, then follow his process.
