Did you guys ever sort out the feather steering? i have a 69 with the same kit and i have the same problem with it, im considering going back to manual with it

Sam Johnson I’m actually ditching the hydraulic steering completely and going with an electric rack. The car is currently at vorshlag getting some work done. -Adam

Russ were you slightly concerned while Adam was driving? Your eyeballs did all of the talking.

What diff is in there? When he turned that sounded like your tire is dragging, which means the diff isn't slipping/unlocking depending on what you have there. Would like to see you continue to evolve the mustang further, and make it more track capable and sorted. Gotta catch that Z06...that would be impressive. Also, when are we seeing some slight Z06 mods, to shave some time?

I think it's called a track loc? Adam bought the diff so long ago he's not sure. The car's pretty loose into a corner, but then pushes hard mid corner to corner exit. I think it might be a geometry problem with the rear axle but it might be something in the diff too. We're going to fix the brakes and steering on the mustang, as soon the clutch is fixed. Mods are coming for the Z06, probably just longitudes, intake and exhaust. Hopefully when I get back in Feb. -Russ

I don't know much about vehicles, but I have been a passenger in a car very similar to that. What's the benefit in the exhaust "pointing downward"? Also, the power steering is supposed to reduce the force needed for steering correct?
@russandadamsgarage1057 жыл бұрын
Pointing the exhaust down was to try to keep the flames from hitting the floor boards, as well as trying to keep fumes out of the cabin. It didn't really work for either. Yeah the power steering is supposed to reduce force, Adams power steering is just WAY too effective. So when you turn the wheel it doesn't feel like it's connected to anything. -Russ
