Just awesome, real nice car!...I'm 62 and I STILL have my first car I bought in 1973....my 68 Dodge Coronet RT.with a 440 magnum...all original, except I freshened up and blueprinted the original motor a number of years back...it runs great, and when I drive it, I'm 17 all over again!!

My father bought one just like this off the showroom floor the month he returned from nam. It was the 440 super commando and by what I have been told the car was a freak of nature. He had three cases full of trophy's he won with it and his best time was 11.11 126mph on Mohawk street tires.

I am 60 years old when I was a Teenager my best friend had saved the money to buy a GTX we went with his mom to look at one on a used car lot in Kansas city. I got out with Steve and as we walked up it was a 67 Belvedere GTX all white with blue interior. As we walked to the front I noticed on the fender Hemi and yes indeed it had the Hemi option. price well Steve drove it home for 895.00 Dollars Cash!

My cousin had one of these in the early- and mid-seventies. He said that it came stock with a special rear end. It had the 440 and “four on the floor.” He did not modify it. He called it “The Red Bullet.” It was gorgeous and clean, and he kept it immaculate. He was always racing people on the streets. To my knowledge, he may have been beaten only once. What a beautiful monster.

When I was 19 in 1977, I had a 67 Belvedere GTX with a 440. It was a monster, and had a several year run of being “undefeated” in street races. Bone stock. Musta had a real good one because I took out cars guys had modified and tuned with great expense and time. I smoked Belvedere cigarettes, my car was “Belvedere blue” (like my smoke pack! - don’t know what the paint code was) and to top it off, my dad was an advertising exec in charge of Belvedere adds!. I’ve recently seen a numbers matching 67 GTX go for $85,000 US! Peace

I am 65 in 1972 a man ran a red-light and totaled my 1 ton 55 chevy van, after the insurance paid me $1200, my grandfather came home one afternoon and said I found you a car, we get to the car lot, it is a plain 66 Plymouth belvedere skinny tires on steel wheel painted body color. My grandfather says it has a small v8 and automatic with bench seat and no carpet. We but it for $1100. It is a one owner with the 426 hemi. I was on top of the world, beat every thing I raced.

nice mopar. my dad and I started building a 67 belvedere 1, two door post (sedan). it was a cream color. we bought it from an estate sale, with less then 23,000 original miles. it belonged to an old couple in California.....I swear I'm not lying...an old couple, and they didn't drive much...obviously. anyway. it was an original 273/727. we took it out, got a 440 hp engine from a Chrysler, it was a 67 too, if I remember right. we took the time to put it all completely factory, including the kick down linkage. there wasn't a single thing that wasn't factory. we put in a purple shaft cam..... very big, and long. (for a stock street engine) and hooker exhaust from the headers back. and 727, of course, we wouldn't use any other transmission. we sold it in Walla Walla, Washington about 1995. the last I heard it had been tubbed, using nitrous oxide, and racing it around Yakima, wa does anyone know anything about it?

Sir, I love your car. I'm a big fan of early Mopar muscle and your car easley makes the grade. The sinister black and chrome sure makes for one mean looking bird. I think you nailed the look: Black and chrome, correct stance and tire selection. I hate it when people put those tiny sidewall / huge rim size rolling stock on classic cars. It's not a good look, it's stupid!. You however, selected the correct rim and tire combo and the car has a proper badass stance. Well done sir, well done!!! 🍻 BTW - What are the numbers on it, meaning displacement, trans, add-on upgrades, etc. It sounds great!. OK, I'm done gushing LOL! 😎 👮🏻♂️ 👀
