My parents dated in his 2+2 and my mother wound up going over seat dad said at times when he hit it. They took it on honey moon. Wanted to get him another but he passed this last Oct. RIP father and my best friend I love you!❤

Awesome seeing other 67 Catalina's. My dad is close to done restoring his 67 Catalina that his parents ordered brand new. Tracked it down and found it in a junk yard. 400. White with maroon interior. Full size ralleye 2s. Love these cars. Super under appreciated. Great lines and best looking front end of all the full sizes in my opinion.

Beautiful car...although 65 is my favorite year of the Catalina 2+2. If I was buying a brand new full size car that was also fast in 1967...a 4 speed Catalina 2+2 would be one of my finalists along with a 427-4 speed Ford Galaxie 500 XL and a Chevy SS 427-4 speed. I'd probably go with a 428 HO-4 speed Catalina 2+2 because the Ford 427 is more of a race engine than a street engine and the Pontiac is a bit more upscale than the Chevy SS 427 and the 390 horsepower 428 HO provides plenty of power along with good street manners. I like the Ford 427 the best of the 3 engines power wise but they just didn't have very good street manners

sorry about that. I had a 2007 Lexus ES350 stolen just about 1-1/2 years ago. It hurt. But what was worse was when I got stationed in Germany in 1970 and my dad sold my 1969 Dodge Dart GTS with a 383, 4 speed, and headers. Without my knowing about it.

Those were actually 15 in. first year wheels. Yes, they did look like the 14 in. LeMans wheels.

Those wheel covers were only with the disc brake option.
