1967 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Coupe for sale *Walkaround and start up*

Offered for sale we have this simply stunning RHD Volkswagen Karmann Ghia coupe finished in sparkling metallic grey with complimenting light cream leather interior. Subject to extensive restoration since importation in 2006 this vehicle has not just had thousands spent bringing it up the show level cosmetically but mechanically with comprehensive engine and gearbox work. Reconditioned items include uprated twin carburettors, electric fuel pump, brand new clutch and oil cooler, stainless steel exhaust and fuel tank and so much more. As a result, the little VW is hugely engaging to drive with more than enough zip to keep up with modern traffic. Corners are navigated with ease thanks to a slightly lower suspension set up than factory, aided by nearly new tyres on a set of 15 inch Empi period alloy wheels.
The car was evidently built with longer road trips in mind as a previous owner has fitted extra sound deadening under the carpets along with a Bluetooth compatible retro look stereo system complete with discreet speakers. The seats have been retrimmed in soft leather and show very little wear.
While the whole interior is undeniably stunning the pièce de resistance must be the handmade Nardi Turismo steering wheel.

I believe VW should bring back the Karmann Ghia back ... maybe this time as an EV! If they ever do... I will be buying one sight unseen.

Still saw some fluctuations in the body. Needs a tad more repair. Engine sounds fantastic. Front grill left side is bent. Other than that, very clean.
