Great stuff. I started following the CFL and NFL that season. It’s good to hear Don Chevrier’s voice again. He was a true professional.

Ha! I was ten days old and spotted my Dad sitting on the bench 1:48:22! Mom I am sure had me and my sister back at their apartment in Kanata while Pop went to play football.

Just a teeny tiny correction of something that's bugging me: it's Rough Riders - two words. Roughriders play in Regina. Otherwise, I love this! 😁

Yes absolutely correct ! before CFL was formed, it was the Big Four conference (in the east) and the Western Football conference,, and both had a team named Ruffriders. :) 👋

I loved that we had two teams named 1. Ottawa Rough Riders and 2. Saskatchewan Roughriders. Uniquely CFL and Canadian. Loved it.

Picked up a G.M. advertisement from this game...& guess who was the voice? None other than...John Facenda, the legendary voice of N.F.L. Films. Check out the ad at 1:19:56.

The heck with the first anthem? Was Britannia playing? I was just months old. I just love the respectful way people interact. The player’s intro that was great.

O Canada did not officially become the National Anthem until the passing of the National Anthem act in 1980. Prior to that Canada had both an unofficial National anthem and a Royal Anthem (God Save the Queen). It was not uncommon for both to be sung at public events in the 60s, 70s and sometimes into the 80s. They played both here...

people dont want to know the final score. you are like the guy who tells somebody the end of the movie before the movie is over. we all have the technology to look it up ourselves.

Horrible stadium! The hash marks looked stupid with the line in between each mark. It was hard to tell where the marks were!
