So they originally had the system electric in ‘67 THEN changed to vacuum?! I bet they regret that in hindsight. I have a ‘67 Camaro that someone has already started the hideaway conversion, the grill and hideaway doors are already in place but there’s no motors or wiring present. Will this kit work for me do you think?

Not really. The problem with the 67 system was that the motor and gears were not water proof and the gears were not galvanized or coated and very prone to rust. They were such a poor design that GM just decided to use the tried corvette system on them. Later on, the aftermarket would produce water tight motors with coated and sealed gears, but they are specific to 67 only. This DSI kit is much better and far more reliable than the 67 aftermarket kit.

Could y’all please let me know what wheels those are on the black 69 in the background inside the shop? And also what size the front and rear wheels are on the car? I just recently order one of y’alls wheel tub kits for my 69 Camaro and those are the wheels I’m wanting to order. Thanks for the help

Would this kit work for a 1968 caprice where the hideaway headlamps flip up and down can they be modified for that application?

We've heard that a few people have done this over the years so it's certainly not impossible, but you'll most likely need to create some new brackets in order to properly mount the motors.
