1968 C10 Build Episode 5 - LS Engine Installation

Now that we have a running engine, it’s time to get it installed into the chassis of our ‘68 C10. Everything but the frame rails and the guts of the engine came off the Speedway Motors shelves and now it’s ready to show off.
So much time and effort have gone into this build, and we finally got bring the project to SEMA 2022! This started out as an awful, rusty frame and we turned it into something we’re proud to display at our booth!

When you said adapter sleeve, I didn't see a damn thing, I know what your talking about but some people new to LS swap gonna be like what did I miss..

I use to be able to turn two bolts at the same time until I blew my thumb off, playing with gun powder!

Sweet truck so far. I have a '71 C20 and I want to put in either a 5 or 6 speed manual transmission that will still have a "granny " 1st gear. Any suggestions? I plan on working the truck.

How are you setting the pinion angle without the body on, or the chassis at ride height?

This is a 5.3 LS we got out of a local junkyard. The engine was in an '04 Sierra.
