In this video I put in a programmed computer (ECM), delete the EGR, change transmission fluid and check transmission. I then get all the wiring through the firewall and into the dash area, getting ready to hook it all up to the car.
I also have bumper stickers available. $5 to clunkersandclassics@gmail.com on Paypal.com
If you would like to send parts or anything, you can send it here. Much appreciated:

Hey everyone, this gentleman is more in depth than many other youtube channel out there, he is showing us his whole system of getting vehicles to rebuilding and customizing them. This is very informative content and I see this channel growing larger that others do to this fact. So, if you're getting anything useful out of his videos then subscribe so that he can and will keep learning us the ways of custom fabrication without being ripped off by buying unnecessary parts and unnecessary prices.

Just simply amazed at your knowledge of the wiring stuff, and the patience it must take to search all these connections out. I still like the way you do videos, in that you get stuff done and figured out….Then you bring us in to explain what was done👍Love the project and looking forward to the next one!

Bosch and Bendix were 2 main manufacturers of fuel injection systems at the time. Mechanical systems may be known as a 'Kugelfischer' system. This uses a flexible metallic cone with various roller cams and actuator pistons housed within the fuel distributor. One other electronic system is the Bosch D type Jetronic. This system can be recognized by a twin contact breaker points cassette housed within the base of the ignition distributor. There's 2 conventional relays with a seperate throttle butterfly switch and manifold pressure sensor as well as a temperature sensor. This system was also used on Volkswagen's Varient models (instead of twin carburetors) up till 1973.

There is only 4 wires that run the cruise control there is a little 4 wire connector that is 1/4 way down the turn signal harness. The wires are dark blue, light blue/black, grey and grey/black. I added cruise control to my 06 w/t with the box under the hood and turn signal switch from an 01 s10 blazer so they are pretty much the same for all cable throttle GM 4.3 & V8.

If you take your time it will work out don't get overwhelmed I like the Camaro shifter I would use the whole thing with the console if it would fit as for the key I'd try to use original spot and as long as you have the old gauge mount you can build something around it for the new one.peace...

add external grounds to fuel pump and starter relay. that will bypass the antithetical if it has it. the antithetical works by recovering the grounds from those relays causing them not to work.

Could you leave the truck ignition switch in the on position and hide it in your dash then run your main power wire to it from your original key switch? That way it all comes off and on at the same time and you only have to turn one key switch to start everything.
@darrenwalker993
@darrenwalker993 Жыл бұрын
Have you isolated the door courtesy switches, something is being reactivated after you remove key, like courtesy lights, you can't just hack up the harness without knowing where they lead, some things are run in parallel and series with other stuff, check out halfass customs on KZbin, or someone like, many ls wiring videos on KZbin
@clunkersandclassics

Toss the shift interlock in the trash the starting circuit is a fussed circuit also so run the fusses hook a real scan tool up and make the ecm is seeing park/netural It will run even with the cluster removed As far as random fires goes low fuel psi could cause that issue or a kinked fuel line the tuner can also bypass the safety neutral switch also l

Instead of using two keys why don't you just cut the main positive wire from the original ignition harness and wire it up with the truck ignition so then when you turn on the key it will send power to the car itself along with the engine. The other part of the original fuse box is connected to the battery
