It's funny, whenever you find a comment you don't like, you automatically pin them so your subscribers can jump all over them. Seems childish to me. I've watched every video you've put out and have bought multiple things from you. And I've seen you sic you're little wanna be die hard fans on multiple people who voiced their opinion or gave criticism. Pin this one too, I really don't care. You were much more enjoyable to watch when you didn't talk for 80% of your videos. I'd be curious to see the analytic % of how many people watched the entire 2.5 hours.

Hey, I realize that this is 2 months late, but I only just watched your video (which I thoroughly enjoyed, BTW, as I own a very original '68 C20 myself). I picked up on something that was the source of the braking issues on the C20. The part that was on the truck at the beginning was not a proportioning valve, as you identified it, but in fact a distribution block. This block was used on all-drum brake GM vehicles and it has only two functions: to send brake fluid to the correct end of the vehicle and to activate a switch to illuminate the brake warning light in the dash when it senses a loss in pressure from either the front or rear brakes. That's it. By removing this block, all you have accomplished is to lose the function of the brake warning light. The part you removed from your square-body parts truck is a proportioning valve (sometimes called a combination valve, because it has three functions). The proportioning valve acts a distribution valve; it acts to proportion higher brake pressure to the front disc brakes; and, it delays application of pressure to the front discs until the rear drum shoes take up the distance from their relaxed to applied position. Perhaps I missed it, but I did not see you install that proportioning valve after you removed the old distribution block. This would explain the less-than-ideal brake effectiveness of that truck. Hope this helps. Keep up the great videos!

I was thinking bad brake booster as well. To test them I shut the engine off and pump the brakes to deplete any vacuum. With your foot on the brake moderately hard, start the engine. If the pedal goes down a little, the booster is good, If the pedal stays the same, the booster isn't boosting. It is nice to see things green in your country. @@MortskeRepair It's all we can do, right? Happy 4th, hope you had a nice day to relax and hopefully enjoy some fireworks. Stupid night shift - I should be happy I didn't get woken up though, so it's a win. Waking up to cats freaking the F out is always a blast

Well it may have been a long video, but I love this type of job you do, and you broke up the tale of working on the Chevy, with one or two segments on trips outside the workshop. You certainly upgraded that truck and probably significantly lightened it

My 92 silverado with a flowmaster 10 single in dual out no cat stock manifolds is maybe 2 percent louder inside of drone and is screaming outside I love It honestly for a truck mine has a 350 not much power but it has more punch it burns the 35s I have from a stop when I had a magnaflow it was lazy and quiet I thought it was worse than stock..

I find that fixing the little things and removing unnecessary $hit is the most gratifying!!! Good luck to Dicki. Must be a good job opportunity because why trade cold wind for swamp and humidity. I know they’d be pricey but a 12”x24” vintage looking Mortske sign would be badass
