Which gearbox did you used on that LS engine? I want to swap one in my 1971 El Camino and I am afraid to maybe change the bell housing.and one thing I want to know how to make the engine to start without programming it.thanks

Take a factory SS car and wreck it with the LS swap. The LS engines are great engines but they are so boring

I agree, the LS style looks too factory, and like you said too plain. They do make great power and they have some cool dress-up stuff, but I dont like the way they look as much as a traditional SBC or BBC. Personally Id rather have a stroker SBC up in the 406-434 cubic inch range over the LS3 stuff.

I’ve got a ls1 swapped single cab Chevy and I still think it would have been a killer look the other way around
