1968 Corvette EP18 Hood Issues Fixed?? Rear Valance installation, AGAIN! Installed a new hood..

If you put a "long" hood on it , it will flare up on the corners nearest the windshield . I believe you can order the 2 parts to match from dynamic corvettes. Also not sure how good the hood latches will fit a long hood.

Hi Meanstreets, He does have the full, hidden, wiper assembly mechanism, but is still unsure of what hood he wants to use, I know it's been a bit frustrating for me. The 1st hood is a mess, and the second one actually fits pretty good, and the assembly is in good shape. He has new latches and hinges. Hopefully we stay with the short/original hood. thanks for the videos. At 15:10 you said you'll add a tiny layer of bondo on the rear valance gaps. Are you going to eliminate the gaps completely are you talking about just making the gaps tighter?

Hi Dan, I was talking about tightening up the gaps, but I was also waiting for the owner to let me know if he wanted the gaps filled like on some other Vettes I've seen. Thanks for watching and Take Care, Toby
