Nice work. There’s only a couple things I would add to this video and that is making sure that the weatherstrip has been fitted on the door while you are aligning the door panel to panel. This has been a common mistake from a lot of cars that we see come through our shop. The other would be if you have the option of TIG welding that way, you don’t have such a hard weld, and you can hammer and dolly at the edge of the door to bring it back straight stretching the weld back out. Although this is completely acceptable, you will make the body guy a lot happier not having to deal with as much Panel dive. Take care 👍🏻
@guzzifabrication344826 күн бұрын
I agree on the weatherstrip, it's easy enough to measure the inside gap and ensure it is consistent with no " tight " spots + I have multiple tricks manipulating weather stripping, the issue with installing is more than likely it will be damaged trying to remove so 2 sets have to be purchased. On the tig welding, my channel is set up for the DIY people working at home on their own projects most of whom use a mig welder. I have over 200 videos on KZbin and multiple videos on tig welding. Thanks for the input.
