Thanks for bringing the charger back to the channel. I watched every episode of all cars on your channel and learned so much more about metalwork ! About the colour , charger red , black interior , black R/T stripes and a black vinyl roof. Would match the calipers ! Greetings from Holland

I like the idea of Plum Crazy for the color. Not sure why, but I think it fits for how crazy far this car has come. I remember the first videos when you drug it out of that yard in Ohio.

Wow you're getting good at these QA1 installs. That 9 3/4" Dana 60 looks so good located in there, ready for those even bigger meats and all the torque you can send it. That's the kinda of want, to dominate the muscle car wars, Mopar had back then. To basically install a dump truck axle into those highest torque Hemi and big block cars was so much more than GM and Ford were willing to do. Very satisfying watching you repair that captured nut in the front frame rail. Spun a couple of those loose over the years on M & J bodies. Rack up one more vote for metallic plum crazy with an extra shot of flakes, but then that's my age, remembering when these were new and rust free used and at every car show, drive in, track and street meet, making everything else feel ugly. There's also part of me that loves the wild yellows, with the black stripes, but it was more the 70' Chargers that look so good in that colour. The 70' Road Runner's rear script, in black on it's trunk, against the wild yellows was just epic, particularly back in the day when fonts like that had never been used on cars before. Started a whole new industry of stick on lettered brand name call outs for the aftermarket. Every kid had his rear quarters stickered up with "Plymouth" or "Chevy" in a contrasting colour in huge letters. All that stuff was new back then. The number of tilted, slanted and badly installed ones was huge. Admittedly I had to pull another rear window out of the attic and replace the one in my Cooper S when I somehow installed the FM station's huge sticker upside down. Good luck on the blast and with the colour choice. What colour do your kids like for it? Malcolm Ottawa Valley

Hey man, big fan of you work. Not looking to pick it apart or call you out, but at 4:41 you slid the seal on the spindle and then installed the hub. In my experience, that seal should be pressed into the hub and slid on the spindle as an assembly.

Awesome to see the Charger being worked on again! As for colour, I love the bright Mopar colours from that era so my first choice would be Plum Crazy Purple with a white tail stripe and a white interior. My second choice would be Panther Pink with a black tail stripe and a black interior. Avoid the oh so common colours like black, red, silver, and blue that you see all the time. Do something not so common and make the car really stand out. Cheers from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

About bloody time you got back onto this!!!! Cheers from australia.
I went to a local car show today saw a very nice 66 Coronet that once sold at the Barret Jackson Auction in a factory pale yellow with black interior that looked very bad ass. Same color combo as the 69 Charger they crashed into the train in Dirty Mary & Crazy Larry which I am still traumatized over all these years later. But she's gonna be cool no matter what color you pick. Old Chargers Rule & God bless.

Like I said the last time I used them was 20 years ago, I didn't like them I thought the calipers where very weak compared to my 6 pot AP's, They just weren't beefy enough it that make sense and would suffer brake fade on track even though I tried several different types of pad, My AP brake's were bullet proof. The much newer ones you have look a lot stronger and you've clearly had good results, I was just sharing my own experience that's all mate.
