1968 G2 Royal Enfield Bullet 350: Mumbai to Dapoli via the Coastal Route

Republic Day. Mumbai, Maharashtra. 2023. A ride to the costal town of Dapoli, on my 1968 G2 Royal Enfield Cast Iron Bullet 350 Standard. I took backroads and tried my best to stick to the coast. I did get lost a few times but the old girl never missed a beat. I would recommend watching this video on a sound system with good bass, or with headphones, to fully appreciate the delightful exhaust note only a heavy crank mid-1960s Bullet can provide.

Seriously reminded me of my beloved 1969 RE... These older gen bullets are a different level altogether... Not exactly refined or as reliable as the current bikes in the market... But it's the simplicity that overwhelms you.. not to mention the lazy, tourquey nature of these engines. Easy to repair, easy to maintain, a true travel mate who's raring to go over the horizons with you.. almost as if they could read your mind!! Built like a gun... For a hardy old son of a gun!! ❤👌🤘💪💪😎 I've always maintained that the Royal Enfield is amongst all motorcycles... What a good old bottle of Old Monk Rum is amongst all other foreign brands... They'll always draw respect and hold a special place in most hearts!! Cheers...
