I’ve been going through some of your older videos. I was drawn to your channel by the seized GPZ but stayed for the vintage Honda motorcycles. I have been doing the same with Honda three wheelers for about a decade now (nice looking Kawasaki btw). And in the last couple years I’ve started getting into vintage motorcycles as well. What exhaust is on your cb450k1? What is it called and where could I get a pair? I’m putting together a ca160 and the exhaust I have interferes with the kick start. I think the exhaust you have would clear because it has a longer extension before the muffler starts. Any way I’m enjoying the content I hope you keep it up.

It sure when I got them. It’s what I had laying around when I got the bike. Here is a link to something similar. www.google.com/shopping/product/2739974091806718650?q=vintage+motorcycle+exhaust&client=safari&sca_esv=593107018&hl=en-us&biw=300&bih=506&tbs=vw:l&prmd=sivn&sxsrf=AM9HkKkTAkfoY2Lb7RPzlQDXNriP76Ye4Q:1703257889823&prds=prmr:1,cs:1

@@motorcyclerewind looks perfect and reasonably priced. Thank you very much. I looked for a while but couldn’t find them. I never would have guessed they were royal enfield.

That tank looks great. When you painted it black did you sand the paint before clear coating? Or do you have to add more paint after sanding...then do the clear coat? (Hopefully that makes sense.) I just did a black tank and I really wanted to do some very light sanding on the paint to remove some texture before spraying the clear. There was mixed opinions on line whether I could go from lightly sanded paint to clear coat. So I got the best coat of black I could from the spray can...let that dry then sprayed with 2K clear. It turned out pretty good, but I think it could've even even better. I wet sanded and buffed the clear coat to take out some orange peel, but if I'm looking at in certain light there's a couple spots where I can see some texture in the paint or clear, not sure which one it is.

I am currently painting my third black bike. The first one my CB550 I wet sanded then clear coated, The CB450 no wet sanding just clear. Wet sanded both after clear. The non wet sanded CB450 is much deeper. I am not going to wetland between final color and clear on the CB750 I am doing now.
