what a beauty. i had a 68 roadrunner with firestone grand national tires in the back. they were 12 inches wide so i had to use shackles. was not crazy about the idea but that was what i could afford. later got delco airshocks and ditched the shackles. i will bet all the negative folks here never had an original gtx or roadrunner. keep the faith.

Thank you, I did buy springs for the rear the shackles are at the lowest setting probably about 1/4 inch above stock. People may not understand but I like the shackles, it gives an authentic look of a muscle car from that Era, these cars were not built with a bottomless budget. People have their preference, I see 18s on classic mopars and I manage keep my comments to myself. Thanks again and I love the tires I went with just because nobody is running them haha

since the seventies when i had my roadrunner parts prices have gone crazy. i am always amazed at what stuff costs now as opposed to when i bought them.@@danachick6898

As far as mopars go the 68 gtx to me is the best, well other than the superbird or daytona.

I feel like the shackles give an old school look for the car they are on the lowest setting, I also replaced the leafs with custom leaf springs. So don't worry too much about the shackles on the setting they are on is 1/4 of an inch above factory.
