Oh wow... That's an 8 3/4 rear end. I thought the Dana 60 was part of the Hemi package... I guess not. This is the second 68 Hemi car that I've seen with that differential.

It's interesting that the 1968 Roadrunner either came with the four speed or if it was ordered with the automatic I believe they only came with the column shift, not the console automatic.....

That's par for the course with the Roadrunner. Remember, the Roadrunner concept was all about a bare-bones, no-frills, all business affordable muscle car. If you wanted creature comforts, that's what the GTX was for.
