@johnnyhernandez75613 жыл бұрын
He in my opinion underpaid for this car, he used his connections to get this beautiful car for a lot less than what it's truly worth, that's the way it usually goes, they are very conniving when it comes to buying cars that they find in the barns, they in my opinion are worst than a crooked politician , if you want to buy a nice used car without ripping some old widow out of her fortune, go and look at the classified ads, the internet you may pay a little more money, but your conscious would atleast be clean knowing that you did not underpay for a classic car and literally stole money from the original owner, most barn finders are just con artist they know the true value of the car when they find it, but they never in my opinion mention it when they make a deal instead they play dum and just want to pay you pennies on the dollar for the true car value, and their intentions are to buy the car dirt cheap and resale it for a lot more, What all these widows need to start doing is their homework go into the internet and do their research and sale the car for top dollar, and maybe then all these leaches would stop coming around to take advantage of anther person's misfortune🙏🙏

I was able to snap well over 40 photos of it and it is one of the best barn finds, I’ve seen since- Rod Hollins 69 boss 429 (royal maroon car that ended up on Barrett Jackson years later) barn find back in the early 00’s (I believe that car had less than 300 miles on it)

I had my pick at 17 years of age, of 65 malibus, 68 novas, 68 firebirds, Mustangs, chevys , mopar , you name it. They were cheap , had lots of chrome and they were fun. My Favorite was a 65 stock turbo Corvair with 140 Heads, I am kicking myself for ever selling it. The thing is we old guys know the true worth of these cars and Would Never pay 50,000 for an old muscle car. I would love to have a 69 black on black Boss 429 or hemi Cuda to work on , but not at the price. I will just stay with my memories and DAMN GLAD I lived during the muscle car times and cruising and armor all and Pioneer super tuners, and Cragar chrome SS mags. Amen , RH DSD

Well some may say Im crazy, but I would put that car right back on the drag strip and race it. If you really want to preserve it and how about pay some respect to the guy who ordered the car as well. He would be dancing in heaven to see that car continue it's destiny. I know of a 1961 Starliner with 404 drag race only millage. Its a 390/406 HiPo car of sorts. It was a 390 hipo car and in late 61 got a cross bolted 406 put in it. un known to the NHRA tech officials. the 3spd od on the column was changed to a 4 spd on the floor and the 3x2 bbls carbs went back on. Then got a bunch of trick light weight panels. Its in pristine shape to this day. Very much like that Boss Mustang. the owner of the Starliner wont drive it. and his dad the original owner would have loved to have him make some passes with it. I always wonder how many more are out there that know body will talk about ..?

Equally strange how the 351 Cleveland wasn't offered until 1970 even though the 69 Boss 302 has Cleveland heads on it !? That would have made the 69 Shelby GT 350 WAY more potent !

how cool to have a name like that.for a mopar guy,that'd be like having your last name be hemi! lol. my buddy has a 66 hemi charger with barely over a thousand miles on the clock. born a drag car,it was done a quarter mile at a time. ☆☆☆

Too funny. I live 13 miles from Von-Wil Ford and I remember Mr. Justice. Never knew about the car but my Dad knew him. Cool.
