Great job man!! I just picked up a c5 t56 yesterday for 300 bucks. I plan on doing the exact same project with little experience on these. Hopefully your insite and help from others I'll be able to accomplish what you did

Back when I did it a few years ago. I would have done it again. Still way cheaper than a t56. Today's market I'm not sure with how expensive everything is.

Did you ever make a detailed vid for this? I’m in the same boat. I grabbed a c5 t56, in my ignorance, for my frs LS swap and now I’m scrambling to figure out how to make this trans work vs losing the money on the investment.

Hey. I have not made a detailed video for this conversation. I'm open to making one just wasn't sure if anyone was interested. At the time I think total spent was around $1,600. With our current economic situation it's going to be tuff to find parts but not impossible. Cover all your bases and you will find them...good luck brother !
