Awesome video!! Well done. My 1997 is bone stock. I completely rebuilt the brake system 2 years ago. The brakes ar excellent and the truck stops like it should. The 1997 has 4 wheel antilock. No sponginess. I will stick with what i got but wanted to compliment your video.

Do you still use DOT 3 or do you use DOT 4 with the new master cylinder? Might be stupid, but better be safe than sorry

Hey got update on it? How well does the parking brake work
@KingsWeldingandAutomotive7 ай бұрын
Continues to work very well. There is a small section on the pad that won't wear at all because it doesn't contact the rotor. I just replaced the pads for the first time since I installed them. The caliper returns back by turning it clockwise unlike most calipers that turn counterclockwise. It also has to be pushed in while turning. Good luck 👍

I have a V8 large hei distributor with a slightly different coil housing. ('86 305 TPI motor) It looks like you reused your housing on this application. My new coil comes with new housing which is why I took my old one off, and then found a grease reservoir underneath, with old dried out grease. What is this grease? I think it must migrate up the shaft to lube the top of the shaft. Will simple marine wheel bearing grease be okay? If anyone knows, I would be grateful for your comments. Thanks

@@will2tha0 Front bumper right side. Furthest to the right. Tucked under the headlight. Can't miss it. They have yellow connectors on them. One on each side.
