That’s the problem with using hack job resto shops. I had a similar experience with a nightmare place called TWC Motor Sports out of Ashville, SC. I’m glad you guys were able to make his ride right for him.

Nice car. Why was the front clip pulled to swap subframe?

This car had issues with all the front sheet metal fitment. Somebody literally welded the fenders to the body, and the course board, front sheet metal, and grill all needed some help. So those parts removed for that process, at which time we swapped the subframe.

The BFGs as shown had browned raised white letter tires instead of the more desirable popping white. I bought a full set of BFGs myself and the letters were browned as well. Any suggestions to solve this problem? They look horrible and would rather a lesser brand like Cooper Tire with popping white letters than a "dirty" appearing BFG tire. I figured you guys would know since you do great restoration work.

A wire brush, some Westley's Bleche-White then hit with a softer brush and some Black Magic dressing. Good as new.
