I just had my 71 Nova repainted and I reused as much of the original pieces that I could. The aftermarket stuff sometimes does not impress me!!

Unless somebody swapped the front clip, this was/is not an SS. '68 thru '70 Nova SS had front fender louvers/gills.

M29L35. I m gonna have to correct ya. The 71 to 72 Did NOT have front fender louvers. Yes they did put 327s in the Novas.

They also used a '70 to '72 SS rear panel , that's why it doesn't fit up against the taillights as it should .

Hood is messed up go back to rear of hood where it turns up way off. You can tell a cheap after market hood only worth 8k.

I saw that little bit of vapor coming from the oil filler cap and was just about to ask you if this engine was set up for NOS. That vapor is normal on NOS engines when its cold outside. No worries.

Got to be. '69 Nova SS had a 350 as a standard engine for the SS package, not a 327. I guess someone could have paid extra, apart from the SS package, to put in a smaller engine, but ... c'mon, that's not going to happen. What caught my eye were the floor gauges. Were those available in a Nova? I have never seen them in a Nova.
