Absolutely awesome survivor. I don't think they could have beaten the color for this car. (I had 3 motorcycles painted in this color!) Lol .... I was thinking it was called Royal Burgundy, but Royal Maroon could be correct. At any rate again, what a beautiful car. The black trim is the perfect contrast. Well shown, described and videoed. Here's one that deserves to be simply stored, possibly shown occasionally .. Honestly, words escape me to describe this one ... Congrats to Volo on this find, and to its soon to be new owner! Thank you for sharing. Well done!!

Hi Jay. This is very rare . I'm baffled as to why Ford made these in auto' /bench seat ! It's certainly no beauty contest winner but it certainly won many races in it's short life ! It sounded pretty subdued for a 428 . That was funny when you bent over and the turntable made a rude noise , you stood up and said sorry about that ! 😂😂 . I was convinced , because of it's rarity, that this would be a $100k car . That's a heck of a buy for someone ! Thanks Jay.

It is actually one of the front tiles rubbing/scratching. We've addressed it once but we think the tile keeps shifting forward a little bit causing it make noise again. 🙁
