Wow. I had a 69 500. We were running K81 Dunlop tires on them back in the '70's. Mine had specialist 2 chambers on it from Gary Shumack . What a time capsule.

I will definitely be riding it on Sundays, don’t worry it will be kept in climate controlled garage in South Florida, hopefully it will be passed down 30 years from now when iam dead!!! to someone else that will appreciate this beauty!!!

That is one gorgeous and sick vintage 2 stroker! My Dad had the 350 and 500. He was gonna get the 750, but he said they cornered horribly, and when it came to racing them, they were only good for racing in a straight line, so he didn't get one. He told me his 500 was fast, lots of fun, and was his favorite one!

Yeah baby! I had a later disc brake 400 triple and even that thing was quick. It used to 'smoke' my buddy's XJ750 literally and in terms of speed!

I owned 3 Kawasaki 'strokers' of the late 60's - a '67 Samurai, '68 Avenger and '71 H1A - they were NOT widow-makers, as an ignorant non-bike riding public would make out - 'just totally addictive and the best fun riding to your [often] un-natural limit; thanks' for the love, senior

If you rode them the way the were meant to be ridden and you were an inexperienced rider they were 100% potential widow-makers. Considering most of the riders were exactly that they fully deserved their nickname.

Beautiful bike! I have a '69 too, but mine's not as nice as yours. Are the indicators correct on your bike? The indicators on mine are less pointy, and have an aluminium finish rather than chrome 🤔

Awason only thing you have to now and then adjust the points unless it's been changed to a magnato
