I just got a 66 tuxedo park Mark IV with the v6. It has no issues getting to 70mph without an OD. (Supposedly the V6 tux park should have 3.73 gears instead of the 4.xx gears of the standard V6 or the super low 5.38 of the F head 4cyl) but i still want an OD for long trips (im an hour and a half from the beach). My jeep is a little twitchy at 70...but not terrifying. I have a tightsteer comming...cant wait to install it. You look like you are living the dream right there.

Beautiful and runs great! Mine sounds like I'm in a rock tumbling machine over 20. Have to stand on the brake and give 10 secs to stop.

My 68 cj5 feels safer above 60 then my 85 cj7. She rips! Three on the tree 225 V6 whew!

Wow much more stable and calm than my 72. I have a three speed and it's screaming at 60. Also the pucker effect is strong while driving. Even with a stearing stabalizer it wanders where it wants to. I mean 10 and 2 always. Is this normal? And hard to stop. Drum brakes completely replaced and reworked and I have to damn near stand on the pedal.

I got a 71 with a 340 buick v8 and as soon as I hit around 60 it decides to steer it self

What transmission and do you have an OD? I have an odd fire and it doesn’t sound quiet like that. Of course I don’t have a top on my jeep but still.
