Police officer on the motorcycle was just incredible such talent
@Syntax1963A8 ай бұрын
The officer had been great but guy in front had been even better - he had a low ccr engine and had an additional passenger! This 'race' had me on edge of my seat.... I do not get it why police is chasing - if someone want to escape the adrenaline is pumping and he will do everything to get away - so the police push him into very dangerous situations - not only for the bikes.... Police also do such in my country and there had been several fatalities of young guys.

The skill level was far above what should be humanly possible. With both drivers. One with a passenger no less. Just out of this world. And before someone comments, yes, I can see it's clearly sped up, but not that much to be honest. That doesn't make it any less dangerous or less impressive. They still went very fast and had to have lightning fast reactions. Some streets were just about as wide as their handlebars.

I can say for sure bud, there is not speed up at all, 80% of our motorcycle cops are skilled like that. We have tons of chases like that due a infestation of motorcycles and tons of teenagers between 17~26 that are just morons trying to flee due plates helmets or expired licenses and they just don't care if they harm someone, police are not allowed to shoot tires or shoot at all unless they get shot 1st, that's the sad part, they always led the target crash by himself or give up. That "order from above" is just plain stupid and put everybody at risk. @@spring9603Here in Brazil, specially in São Paulo, cops chasing mid chase have to communicate with others the position of the fugitive, while using their hand! If he was with another cop he could have focus solely on the chase, but he was alone, hence he had to chase, communicate with signs with one hand to other cops and not hit him to stop or anyone, because the midia would call it "cop violence". That's where his courage came from: no self love and drug use. As for the cop, he did the chase clean and he likely has a wife, children, parents, a carreer, much to lose. As a brazilian, I'm glad to know that our police's work is also viewed and appreciated from other countries. These men and women goes through dangerous situations on a daily basis. Also, about the motorcicle cops, only piloting skills aren't enough... During these kind of chases they also need to comunicate the fugitive position on the radio --- using hands --- and, the most important, grant population's safety. Heroes with low paymment.
They aren't allowed to ram or shoot at them, they are trained to "accompany" them until they crash or they get trapped, on the chases they usually have a partner that stays behind and communicates so the one in front can focus on the chase, but if they're on their own they have to do it all one handed, it's awesome, unfortunately sometimes the bad guys baits them into ambushes, or go to places full of idiots that don't like the police, there's a famous chase where you can see a mob trying to kick the officer while he's at full speed and trying to throw things in his way, it's sad really

@@theengineer2017 Yeah I saw a demo done of that kind of spike strip. I think Australia. It's remotely controlled, which is the real advantage. The driver would not know it's there since no police need to be close to it. And it automatically springs back into itself so no other vehicles, like squads, get spiked. Definitely those would be way more accessible and easier to deploy at the right time than grapplers, which require the squad with them installed, to get close enough to use them. What I wonder is how did we not think of remote controlled spike strips long ago? Seems like we were not thinking outside the box on this one.

I have driven bikes, years ago, and noticed while watching the bike chase that I was banking with the driver in the video.... that is how riveting this was. Kudos to the cop. But you are right, the passenger was so "one with the driver" that they have done this before.

Sadly they pay him poorly as every police officer here, and like 80% of our motorcycle cops has that level of skills. You would be amazed by other chases. ohh forgot that, if the cop crashes the bike he pays for it ...😕😢

@@caldevill Wow. Unbelievable. How undervalued Brazilian cops are. Where does tax money go?
@caldevill5 ай бұрын
@@drew9312 that's the greatest question of the universe lol, we are taxed for everything, sometimes twice for the same thing, we do have riches in soil and people but ..well... govern... always the govern ... they are magicians, the money always fade away and they always need more. We are kinda in a hamster wheel, same politicians apply (the bad ones) for election and always we can only choose the lesser evil between two of them. I think that's the hole plot around here, dumber we force them to be, easier to get votes with a last minute "friendly hand" giving them some treats in exchange of a vote. Hence the wheel where those dumb bike riders with poor education get in, and most of them not by choice ... the govern fails them badly. It's just sad, we are like living in an ideological and cultural kind of apartheid. And cops, firefighters and public doctors, mostly work for the love of the profession, sy the big text, be safe out there 😊👍

At the bike chase i'm not sure who has the bigger skill. The suspect being able to drive like this with a second person on the bike, or the officer for keeping up with the suspect AND actually catching them in the end. But that both didnt crash is probably the most incredible part. And the Grappler is probably the best invention to stop a pursuit EVER. That thing should be used world wide.
