Beautiful car! The retractable headlight covers are an easy fix. Trace down the vacuum leak. Usually either the reservoir tank, vacuum hoses or the light switch in the dash. My Dad used to work on Lincolns from the 60's to the 80's. Common problem.

The open headlights just killed this video for me! Shame, such a gorgeous mint car! BTW, I've seen a few Mark III's with right had side mirrors that fit right into the chrome strip. Where do those come from? It's not a factory option. Was it dealer installed or a retro fit?

Gorgeous. Looks like the vacuum system for the headlight doors has failed but that's not surprising given the age of the car. At this age there are surely other issues but in this brief cosmetic glimpse, it looks awesome!
