Thank you. That was the first time we tried to edit a video and as you could see we had a problem!! I have a lot of history with my Mustang and need to do another video.

Interesting to see how you jack the car. As an original owner of a 69 CJ, never thought about using a board like you did. Will try that.

I have been doing it that way since 1969. Jack it up on the strut rod bushing brackets.

Hi Rusty! Seeing what you did with the stock gas tank, it reminded me of something someone told me back in the 70's or 80's. The story is that you can supposedly separate the tank top and bottom as you did, but replace the top with another bottom, effectively giving you a 34-gallon capacity. Handy for less station stops on a street car; not so much for drag use. You ever hear of this, or seen it done? Engine sounds great! Wix Gold filter? Thanks!

I have never heard that. I suppose it could be done but you would also have to weld up where the sending unit goes plus you would have a problem with the gas filler neck. NAPA but they say it's made by Wix.

@@gillisrestorations Thanks. I think I may give it a shot on one of my non-CJ cars. I know I will have to get a mortgage to fill up the tank, but what the heck.

@@gillisrestorations I talked to my super secret source in Cali. He said that the gas tank thing was done on the '65 R-model GT350's. If you do a Google image search for that car, you can see the setup they ran. Very doable. I think the ticket would be to contact Spectra or Sherman and see if they could attach two new lowers together to avoid the hassle of dealing with used tanks. Nobody seems to repro that exact tank presently. Anyway, keep on with the channel! I have base Montego Q, Cyclone CJ Q, Ranchero GT Q, XR-7 R, and two Cobra R's. Some CJ swaps, too! Keep the faith.
