Body off the frame restored. Real 442 with upgraded 455 motor, numbers match trans and rear. Stunning factory colors. Loaded with options!
EXTERIOR: What a good looking muscle car. Factory code 10, ebony black. The paint was just wet sanded then polished to a mirror finish. The body is clean and straight. The bumpers fit the body beautifully. In back it has a rechromed bumper with the cutouts for the 442 trumpet tips. New tail light lenses and bezels. New Oldsmobile emblem style marker lights. The stainless trim around the windows and gutters is all new. The stainless trim on the sides of the car and the wheel well openings are new. In front it has a rechromed bumper, new chrome eyebrows and hood trim. All new tinted glass. Has power windows, they go up and down quickly. The door jambs are painted nicely and has new weatherstrips and window seals. Correct SS-1 wheels with new trim. New BF Goodrich tires.
INTERIOR: Maybe the best part of the car. It is completely restored. Red is the factory color and it's stunning. Loaded with options too. It has power seat power, windows, power antenna, a rear defogger factory Am-Fm radio with an 8-track, sport wheel on a tilt column, bucket seats, console and it has the rally gauge cluster with in the Tik Toc Tachometer. Door panels are all new including the armrests and chrome bases. The seats are completely restored- new upholstery, headrests, seat backs and the chrome trim. Rear package shelf, carpet, headliner and visors are new. Gauges are new. Radio sounds great, has kick panel speakers. New glovebox liner, light works. Interior lights work. They did add retractable 3 point safety belts in front. New red belts in back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Upgraded from a 400 to a 455 motor. Original type 4 barrel carb is restored. New fuel pump, alternator, cadmium plated brake booster, master cylinder, wiper motor etc. Has proper fan shroud and the rubber seals and each side. The air conditioning parts look like they're replaced. It's all cleaned up and painted nicely. Has insulation on the bottom of the hood, wiring looks nice.

I’ve always called them 4 4 2.. I had a 1970 and to this day those cars are my favorite. I still have my 1971 Cutlass Supreme Convertible. Bought it when it was three years old. Love Oldsmobile’s..

Olds and Pontiacs my favorites! We all grew up knowing this "killer" machine as the Four-Fourty-Two. Whenever we hear "Olds" we automatically think of Hurst or Four-Fourty-Two. Whatever you call it is fine by me. You rock Jay! :-) 🇺🇸🏁

My 69 I call a 4- 40-2 and I dont care who dont like it, I'm with you my first car was a 69 44d2 and you couldn't give me a Chevelle now, I do wish there were more of these in car shows along with the 10,00 Chevelles, 12 Mustangs, and the handful of Camaros, you rarely see these anymore.

Not false badging, not all 442s were 4 speed manual trans contrary to the name. Beginning in 1965, they actually came standard with a 3 speed manual with optional 4 speed manual or 2 speed automatic.

We always called them four fortytwos but I'm from Texas and we don't speak politically correct .Oh I've been living in the Midwest since 93 and love this car I had a 1974 cutlass supreme all white but the tires dash and carpet .It was a great car.

Beautiful car, I don't care if it's not the original motor just long its priced appropriately. Unfortunately with a collector car like this anything besides the original motor is not an upgrade. Maybe it could be called up rated. It's beautiful I love it my neighbors would have the cops on me fast.

Jay, you seem like a nice guy. Do all your sales have the same warranty or are sold on a case by case basis. And, will someone be able to get their insurance have them repaired at what level of trim and repair. These cars back in the day came out with all safety features available. My mom had one new back then. She thought it was basically a Cutlass. Great motor. Nice you left in the hood insulation. These were truly great cars. I lived out East and we called the four four two, no questions.
