That’s really in superb condition. It’s quite rare as most tend to have been polished to various degrees of shine, sadly.

My younger brother has one the exact same but missing the strap and the twit keeps it in an old wooden box with the rest of his watches he hasn't worn it in years, but its near mint except for a tint nick on the bezel..my uncle brought it for him when Armstrong set foot on the moon in 69..

What would you get for this model watch? I have one in mint condition but with the original steel bracelet? Thank you. Also doesnt have the date and day function so I assume mine is a Gen 1 as well, pre 1970?

It would depend on where, when and how you sell it. For example a local pawnbroker wouldn't pay what a Bond street shop would charge, and auction might fit between those two.

Hey guys, my uncle has been searching for a watch that my grandfather used to own, now in his words it was an Omega oval watch with a blue “ring” in the middle. So ofcourse my first thought was the Omega geneve dynamic but the thing is that my uncle swears that the whole watch (including the steel bracelet) was a light blue color. I’ve never heard of such a thing and personally I think he’s remembering the color of the bracelet wrong. What do you guys think? Got any clues?

My brother bought one of these in 1970 as an 18 year old .I think it cost him £45 which was a month's wages for him at the time.

Money well spent. This one is less than a months average wage (on UK average earnings), but that is now more that £45!
