Que bonito y tranquilo ese Puerto Rico de los 60", las casas de madera de tabla en la montaña, habia pobreza, pero mas tranquilidad, no habia mucho automovil ni tanta urbanizacion. Thank you for this video.

Thank you so much for this footage. This is truly a gem of a video. It's a moment of the post caught in film that all can see if they so choose. It's so incredible to see Puerto Rico the same year I was born 1969. Wow!

I worked with Eastern Airlines around that time at the airport dispatching flights. My manager was Mr. Payne, related? Great years in PR during my youth! Great video, familiar with all those places! Missed Central Aguirre in Salinas, my hometown where I grew up! Thanks🤗👏👏👏🇵🇷

Too bad, but in 1969 I was living in N.Y. with my parents. I lived in N.Y. from 1965 to 1975 when we moved back to our home land for good.

In 1969 PUERTO RICAN society was not as disfunctional as it is in 2024. Lots of ethical and .oral values have been lost. Family unity is not what it used to be. Respect for the elderly is no longer day. Political corruption is now part of every day life.
