1969 Triumph GT6+ MkII Barn Find

English, 67 years old, I had a GT6, bright red in the early 80s, It was pretty. Good engine straight 6, smooth fast enough but I had to do a bottom end rebuild. Then rework on the box. It was a 4 speed box which worked but with overdrive. That gave a 5th gear with a switch that let you go gently. I didn't go gently, the weakness of the GT6 and the Triumph Spitfires was the rear suspension. If it braked loose the wheels tucked in and lost control completely. I was drunk, I did a triple Pirouette on ice. Every pannel in the car smashed, car dead. I would not ressurect a GT6 Barnfind but I would talk to a woman that handled like a GT6

Did you have the Mark1? Those had the worst rear end suspension of the 3 iterations of the GT6.
