Factory side moldings came originally with the center ( widest sections) body colored. Most powerful factory stock Riviera with 370 hp. Personally I think the abbreviated rear wheel opening panels look better than the full skirts.

Nice cheap and poorly done spray paint over the grease job underneath. It's better to leave it as is then to whoever thought to do that.
