Reminds me of my first car. It was a 1969 Chrysler Newport. Huge, but handled well. Not too bad on gas. The only thing that I did not like was the cloth seats that tore easily. 😊

Love them big ass C bodies I have a 1970 Plymouth Fury Gran Coupe 440 super commando. As big as she is she's a beast eats camaros and mustangs and the owners can't believe a 19ft long 5000lbs car beats em and these C bodies are tourqe monsters.

This is a very sweet ride!! Back in the mid 70s my dad had a 70 Crown Imperial two-door gold with the 440! He screwed studs in the tires (for the winter grip), but he dug trenches in the asphalt at stop lights with those!

I learned how to drive in one of these. It was my grandfather's car and he taught me. We took a lot of trips in that car. It was green with a white vinyl top. That was such an awesome vehicle

My family had this car. It was an amazing machine. When you floored it, the gears would shift down and BAM it took off like a rocket and it sounded like the Indy 500! It was roomy, comfortable and the sound system was fantastic. (not the 8 track) LOL. I loved the car. It was owned the road. It wasn't cool but it was amazing.

That's one Helluva Awesome Chrysler 300, I love that Fuselage stylin' from '69-'73 on the C-body!!! I hsve a '72 Plymouth Fury 3 4door hardtop 400, 4 barrel, 727, 8.75 rear 3.23 gears, cop car wheels, and flowmaster mufflers 2.5 inch pipes, runs like a raped ape!!!! Gotta find a good body man to make this car look like an unmarked cop car/ whiskey runner!!! Mopar or no car

Gorgeous car here. 1969 thru 1973, the big chryslers were gorgeous, comfortable, and fast. And for such a big car surprisingly good handling due to the torsion bar front end wich by the way, you could adjust - very cool stuff. MOPAR today needs to make these beauties again -exactly as they came off the assembly line - NOT RETRO CRAP. I know I would be good for at least 3 cars for myself. A friend of mine had one of these with a pistol grip 4 speed and 3:23:1 sure grip rear. That car was extra nice. His was white with white interior plus Cragar SS steel wheels & L70X15 Goodyear Poly glass tires. Keep this beauty clean - not very many left.

There's always all this talk about Hemi this and Hemi that...the 440 was a better motor for 99% of all uses, especially on the street. And with the 6-Pak, you could drive around all day on a 2-barrel and when needed summon all 6 with a foot stomp.

The 1970 300 has an absolutely beautiful full width taillight treatment. Simple, elegant and dazzling--in contrast to the 1969 and 1971 versions that divided the full width vertically: 1969: in the center kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWTPZmyIg9SYf8U 1971: added six pointless rectangle dividers kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGG1ppljiZd_opY They're still almost as beautiful. Then in 1972 the 300 was discontinued, but the similar New Yorker rear treatment became a weird, bloated, upside-down looking pseudo full width design--broken by the backup lights in the center. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYqtd3RnoqaKg7s 1969-1971 was nice while it lasted. Side note: Video is a great example of excessive warping effects from digital stabilization

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime :-(((((

Its not about the environment....Chinas boss Darth Xi told most politicians that they wont do any business with underdeveloped countries that still allow CO2 emitting traffic, aircrafts, ships or combustion based industry after 2030...I am sure USA and UK also will be forced by China to 100% electric traffic because today no industrialized country can afford sanctions by China....
