Have you got an 1965 L78 Impala's in your treasure trove. Not a big Corvette lover but can't go pass a 1965 L78, not many of them come up for auction. There were rumors that the Challenger T/A was slated to be offered for 1971 also. There were photos of a concept/prototype from Mopar (recall seeing the old road-test pic in a muscle car magazine back when) and some witnesses vow that they saw a few '71 T/As sitting at dealerships. There's no evidence that Dodge ever made a '71 T/A; maybe a dealer fitted a few R/Ts with T/A hoods for some local or regional dealer-special package, or maybe people just didn't see what they thought they did. Interesting urban legend anyway.
