The twin to this car lived for decades in the farm country of north Alabama and was sold about two years ago to a someone in Florida. I was allowed to sit in it back in about 1990. It resided in a shop with a bunch of other rare and expensive Fords but it was definitely the star.

That is perfect exanple of a proper Boss'9😎 I have a 1 of 8,000 M2 casting of this exact car! Grabber blue, white interior just has the stock steelies instead of the rally wheels. Only way I'll ever be able to own one.😏

I remember when the 69' Mustang Mach1s hit the streets. Those and the 69' Chevelle 396 and Judge GTOs were my favorites for 69', I wasn't old enough to drive in 69', but that being said my first car I actually bought with my own money was a 69' Plymouth Road Runner around in 1975. Kept it for 12 or 13 years before selling it.

Needs tires. Ya' think for a cool quarter of a million bucks , they'd put some new tires on it. Geez. I'd drive it like I stole it. Which is the only way I'd ever get even close to it.

@@genestallons5926 They still make these tires. If I was asking a 1/4 quarter of a million dollars for my vintage mustang, I wouldn't be selling it with 50+ year old tires. A set of these new would set you back about 2 grand. It's an amazing car and it will get a premium price. Why skimp on somethng as simple as tires ?

@@genestallons5926 As the owner of 2 classic cars, and a grown man, i fully understand. Tires with the best of care last 7-10 years. As for this car, the intake, carb, cam and headers, might be period correct but are not "original". Tires are consumables, like gas and oil. Two of my close friends are original owners of their muscle cars. One has a 1969 396 Camaro SS and the other has a 1969 Dodge SuperBee. Both cars are immaculate and are rarely driven. You'd be surprised how rubber and vinyl can deteriorate over time. So, why not complete the package on this 1/4 million dollar car with a newer set of reproduction tires ?
