You should put the factory quad tips on it . Mine had them. They were beautiful editions to the rear of the car . Mine had the factory console with the map light with the sliding door. 😊

I had a 1967 fastback the same color in 1981 . The hood scoops with the blinkers is factory both years. My brother had a 1967 GT Fairlane with twin hood scoops with blinkers. A different style hood scoop on the Fairlane though. . I had a set of metal finned louvers between the tail lights that gave the rear end a different look. They were rare for 1967. I kept my mustang for 15 years. And like a nut sold the car for a used 1985 GT mustang 😢

I believe they could churn this car (as it sits with all options) over and over again, and they would sell very well indeed! Perhaps having a choice of a few colours, although I do love this blue colour! Unfortunately, there are many that couldn’t afford one, but those that could, would be in line to get them!

Terrific body and paint work. Tranny looks a little wet however and underbody looks over-restored. I took delivery of a new, customer ordered 70 Cougar back then and the underbody didn't look anything like that. In 1992 I bought a 17k mile unrestored 71 Boss from California. Underbody was what you'd expect of a $4000 mass produced car back then...quick, industrial, dull paint coatings (if any) with slap-dash markings and not so much easter egg effect. By the time these cars sat in the factory holdling areas awaiting shipment, then took the cross-country train ride, then sat in the dealer back lots awaiting prep, they would pick up a light scale on the bare metal underbody parts as well as sometimes the aluminum engine components. All that with 7 or 8 miles on the clock before they were a gleam in someone's eye. Those are observations from inspecting a row of unsold 70 Boss 302s at a Ford dealer in Wheaton Illinois, summer 1970.
