What does it take to get a perfect 100-point score for paint in the OE Concours class at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals (MCACN)?
That’s a question that can perhaps best be answered by Mauro Brocca and Jeff Cabot, whose recent restoration of a 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda AAR earned just that accolade at the 2023 iteration of the annual event, held near Chicago the weekend of November 17 and nicknamed “the Pebble Beach of the muscle-car world.”
The Canadian restorers, based out of southern Ontario, earned Certified Gold in the class with an overall score of 982 out of 1000, along with two best-Mopar awards presented by MCACN sponsors.
