My young life was awakening to Motocross and off road riding in this era. It was a fascinating time that changed the course of everything I became and did. I never became a Champion, but my existence was broadened in so many ways and gave me my best friends ever. This is a great little segment of film. Thanks for posting it.

Well as someone born in 2002 I'll never be able to experience these amazing times but at least I can collect the bikes they used

I used to race Moto Cross in the early 1970's at Arizona Cycle Park I raced an 250cc AJS my number was 100 I wonder if anybody remembers that race track, it was pretty harry. I still love MX and dirt bikes, but I am old now and my body just can't handle it anymore. Good memories.

Yes, I remember that track, it was in the Salt River bottom over by Sky Harbor in South Phoenix. It had a very steep drop, the first 20 feet or so dropped straight off and the total drop was probably about 100 feet. They had a big pro (Trans-Am) race back in about 1974 or so. Used to race my brothers Bultaco around that track.

I came to see the "90 mph motocross" in '71. It didn't exist especially here. They feel that fast.

Back in the day I foolishly laid down $1400 and bought a 400 (actually 381 cc) CZ. What A piece of junk! The gas tank leaked, the front finder wouldn't stay on, the chain would spit off when riding through sand dunes, ...😫😫😫😫
