8.25 - 8.30 Выпрямление болта - это ошибка. У моего отца, сколько я помню, были такие тиски. Они и сейчас целы. И в этих тисках вот такой искривленный болт сделан специально. Он позволяет открываться тискам без затруднений. То, что Вы его сделали прямым будет Вам мешать открывать тиски.

May I suggest a few things? Never use a threaded rod for a pivot shaft as there is only a very small surface area on the thread crests leading to rapid wear. Do not paint faces that will slide against each other; the paint will eventually make the joint sticky and hard to move. Please use proper sized wrenches whenever possible; loose jaws on adjustable wrenches, especially when used backwards, have a tendancy to round over stuck bolts. Nice vice, though.
