In 1969 a local dealer handled both Jaguar an Alfa Romeo. My visit included a test drive of an E-Type and the 1750. I have to admit I fell in love with the E-Type, and to this day it's still my dream car. That said, when the salesman handed me the keys to the 1750, he said to have fun. If I was just going to putter around town, don't bother going out. He suggested some hilly, twisty nearby country roads. To this day, I can still clearly remember how much fun that test drive was.

I used to own a 1972 GTV2000 injection car, Plum color over tan. Painstakingly repainted in its original hue and everything else cleaned and polished to near perfection. The car was a little jewel and now lives with a Billionaire's wife near London, UK. Such a great little car.

Man what a beautiful car that is! One classic beauty and very highly collectible! They’re skyrocketing in price!

Yeah, though they seem to be going average 50K, not near 100K as MW states.

Back at the time here in Italy there was a power limit to what you could drive for the first 3 years after getting the license, so the game was between the Alfa Junior 1.3 and the Lancia Fulvia coupé 1.3s. The Lancia won, and I really enjoyed it, but I would love to try out the Alfa... 😁

Fulvia coupe - another great toy, but FWD. You can buy like 4 Fulvias for one GTV.

@@jareknowak8712 Yeah, but as a beginner's car a fwd was a safer choice. Oversteer came just if provoked, never unexpectedly, so it allowed me to get out of the first years alive... 😁Got a rwd Alfa years later; a 75. Totally appalling. A real let down.

Imo reminds me of the classic Jaguar on the sides and BMW 318 at least when the video popped up. I think I see some Aston Martin too. Nice, sporty, and classical.

More reviews of classic cars please. Stuck to the '60s and '70s cars that still can be used regularly. Brands like Volvo, BMW, Jaguar, and Mercedes are still usable today and don't cost a fortune to buy and run. And review an electric classic conversion that is affordable by regular people.

The 2002 is much roomier, the Alfa "backseat" is a joke. But the Alfa is a prettier car.

This Alfa wasn't the first designed by GG, that was the 2600 when he first joined Bertone.
