1971 Buick Skylark

Before selling my 1971 Buick Skylark which my friend and I painted with a GSX color scheme, I filmed this video showing all around the car. Sweet memories! Cool side-note, I looped this audio and have used it as white noise for our newborn. He loves sleeping to the sound of the idling engine :)

Beautiful car. It doesn't matter it is not a GS, the V8 350 c.i. is powerful enough and very reliable. Had two Skylarks in Perú for almost twenty years, a 1971 hardtop and a 1970 coupé, both very very smooth.

I don't get it. Everyone is hating on this car because they have to remind the owner it's not a gs. It says in the header it is a skylark. He doesn't seem at all like he is trying to pass it as a gsx or even a gs. Not every car is perfect. This car looks like it would he so much fun to cruz and enjoy. And I will say you did a great job on the restoration. I think this car is one of the cleanest and straightest black cars I've ever seen. Great job man!!! Haters will hate!!!!!

Other then a noisy muffler system it's a good car and if he insulated the pipes it wouldn't sound so raspy or that could be the sound he like , I own a 71 Buick Skylark before and it sounded very quite once it warmed up and it was as fast as they come. It's a good looking Buick Skylark especially for a 71 , the owner has no need to be ashamed at all. ⚔️⚖️✨✨📸✨✨⚖️⚔️

This makes me miss my ‘71 so much. Bought it for $2800 in ‘73 and regretfully sold it for $900 in ‘82.

Not a GS or a GSX, GSX didn't come as convertables no air induction hood. Is a 1971 Custom Convertable. Nice paint and has N25 bumper option. Put new interior in it and you have a nice Saturday night crusier.

is this a clone? body looks just like my 71 buick skylark custom well the holes in the body for where the emblems go are all exact but anyway gives me motivation bc i want mine to imitate a gsx and i wasnt gonna put the hood meter or the scoops on mine either so i see the paint job can look good without that stuff

no hood ducts, the improper instrument gauges, the sport steering wheel on the different colored front seats are NOT CONVINCING. But,enjoy, can have fun with it.
