Beautiful car. Fantastic paint job. I will disagree about one thing, I like the '70 grill better than the '71.

Awesome car! I read the most the 440 put out in stock form was 390hp and 490ft-lbs in six pack form. The nearly 500ft-lbs of torque came on at an early 2800rpm's so it probably was a blast to drive!

What a beast .440 6 pk.Wouldnt buy it myself but if it would had a pistol grip 4 spd id have called in a bid.Hate seeing a car a with that kind of power with a auto a woman could drive EVEN IF IT WAS A SLAPSTICK.Would of like to hear that bad ass 440 fired up .

The slap stick was by far the best shifter of any car. Too bad all there cool looking pistil grips were not as functional.

Good point Andrew. Thats where you decided if you want function or style

Thanks Jacques but the screw is painted . You are soliciting to counterfeit that all important piece of documentation . Could mean the difference of much cash. Not to mention I would know and I would rather be as real as real is . It just feels better rolling down the road. Have a nice day

Great video, great car Tony! Is it a real V-code car?
@mikedavis88923 жыл бұрын
When he read the vin tag he stated it's a N code. So originally a 383 car
@minuteman53693 жыл бұрын
Great car ,if it's all original and true! That tag can be changed just take out the screws with a Phillips head screwdriver. I would think from the factory it had been riveted to the fender well. Why try and lie? Money!!!

Steve. Heres some mopar 101 for you, straight from my mopar library. All plymouths of that era, cudas runners superbirds, dusters and gtx called their 3 2 barrel set up 6 barrels or +6. Whether it was 340 +6 or six bbl or the more common 440+6 six bbl. Never heard of a six set up on a 383. Only dodge called theirs six packs. On chargers (more rare) daytonas, super bees and RTs, challengers and demons. All dodge engines were called magnums and plymouth were commandos (383) and all 440s were super commandos except 426 hemis. All road runners with pop up air grabbers 1970 or later were called coyote dusters, on the gtx and dodges they were called ramcharger air grabbers.

Is this the same car as last night?
@bradleyteets83267 жыл бұрын
Shame it has cloth seats or so that is how it looked. Also they had an AC car and when they switched it out, they could not or did not return the AC system. Thus, this must not be a genuine 440 6 pack car or is not the correct dash. Will have to look at the data plate to look for AC code or the engine codes. How much did they ultimately sell this car for? Does anyone know

In your other vids you call the Plymouth 440 6 pack . . and you called this 440 6 pack a 6 barrel . . . Go figure

it may be odd however it is accurate , Dodge had one name for it Plymouth had another . some people use them interchangeable .

I need to stop watching videos like this. I want it so bad. All I have is 11 model Challenger. Anyone have a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T with a 440 Six Pack, trade you my collection of Pokémon cards. 😋
