1971 Dodge Coronet Police Car Episode 2 - Will it start after sitting for 30 years??

In this episode we give the Coronet a bath, install new spark plugs/wires and change the oil in the 4-barrel big block 383 then attempt to start it for the first time since the early 90's.

Whoa! I own a 1971 Dodge Coronet AZ highway patrol car with motor pool number B-234. Yours is B-215….they’re practically brothers!

I own a 1971 Dodge Coronet police car that is painted B-1 Blue Sky. It is a factory color and was used by some police agencies. Although yours was obviously factory white, the baby blue color is all that uncommon. I've see several painted in the same color. Mine beloged to the City of Fairview, Oregon. My grandfather was the chief of police. The car was bought new in 1971 by the Oregon State Police and used as a campus police car at Oregon State University. Fairview purchased it in 1979 from OSU for $700.00, as surplus. I restored the car in 2014. It has all the original police equipment from 1979, as it was built by my dad, for my grandfather.

Interesting if that doesn't have the rear sway bar, I thought that was a standard prt of the police package as well. I just picked up a '71 s well, not a police package though, just your basic 318 2V. My first car was a '72 ex-patrol Coronet though.
