1971 Kawasaki H1 two-stroke triple

The Kawasaki 500cc H1A Mach III - the quickest production motorcycle at the time. Air-cooled, three-cylinder, two-stroke engine, drum brakes and a fearsome handling reputation. This example was being taken out on a shakedown for the first time after many years off the road. Councils in England won't repair pavements.

I had 3 500's and 1 750. The 750 nearly unridable without a great deal of discresion. The best of the two strokes I had. A RD350 Yamaha all done out, chambers, porting, pods Avons clubmans and home made tail section.
