1971 MTD 960 - Plowing Snow

First bit of snow had me out trying the plow on the old MTD Fourteen Hundred (AKA 960) for the first time.
The aftermarket hydraulic ram is way too slow but it does function.
Now I'm looking forward to some deep snow to test its capabilities.

I have the exact tractor . mine was purchased in akron oh. Mine was sold at the Fairlawn garden center . they used their store name on it. Ive had it since 1975. Im 58 . restored it 20 years ago. Great video.

Can you get that clutch disc ???

Yes.. but it's over $200 in Ontario, Canada... So I'm going to follow the advice from a fella on one of the vintage tractor forums and just turn the existing clutch disk a bit and drill new holes.

I found the clutch disc for 115 buckos american . Im with you though on the rotate and drill.
