@@gaspargarcia4177 I used the wiring from the truck to control everything but the engine. Engine and transmission was an after market harness from Amazon. And Dakota digital garages.

It’s driving now but I don’t have it registered yet so I’ve only taken it down the street and back. Drives great so far, feels like a Tahoe but it is a little lighter so it does feel a little more spunky. I like it so far.

I’m in George West,Texas. I’m going to pick up a 63 longbed sometime around thanksgiving or before Christmas. I want to do the frame swap with the AWD I’m wondering if I could use H2 Hummer frame since I have one already lying around

You could make anything fit just depends on the amount of work you want to put into it. H2 has a 122.8” wheel base 1963 short bed was 115” 1963 long bed was 133” Kind of right in the middle with that frame. You can extend the frame or chop the bed. Can it be done, yes… lots of work, yes. But that would be a cool frame to put it on.

Looks great only thing for myself would be i don't want any body to frame gap. For me it looks like it has a good size lift kit. I pre mine lowered 😀

@@codyreiss6441 yeah it does sit a bit high but heck some of the new chevys come that way … lol In this case it worked out because it’s a 4x4 so it can fit some bigger tires.

@@marcogudino8552I’m not sure, hadn’t really thought about it. Figure just the swap and getting running and driving. About 4K. But it all depends on what u are trying to get it to.

Awesome video! I’ve been wanting to do this to a 68 C10 that I have, and that kit made it look way easy. The only thing is that it seems like it sits really high and I’m going for more of a street truck setup. Do you have an IG for this build? I’d love to follow it.

@@eortega22 I don’t but I’ll be posting a few more videos on it. I’ll trying a focus on the stance on one of the last ones. The truck is almost done at this point with paint and all, I just need to edit the videos. IG coming soon.

Are you converting the 4wd tahoe to 2wd and are you gonna lower it it.. l doing the same thing but starting with a 2wd frame

@@brooklynalbertson5108 I’m keeping it a 4wd and going up with it if anything. For now I’ll leave it the way it is and prob put some 31 or 32’s later

Did you keep the ABS system or run new brake lines??

@@danieljoseph2510 I kept the abs system but nothing electronically hooked up to it, as of now it’s working just fine even under heavy breaking. I purposefully hit them hard just to see what would happen. So far so good.
